We are seeking an experienced and reliable lead plumber to head a two-man team on commercial construction job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
This role involves managing daily operations on-site, coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring timely completion of plumbing tasks according to plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a two-person plumbing crew on commercial job sites
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Install, modify, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, waste and vent systems
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and project specifications
- Coordinate workflow, material needs, and manpower to meet project deadlines
- Communicate effectively with project managers, other trades, and site supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions during construction and alterations
- Train and mentor crew members, ensuring quality control and adherence to procedures
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Enforce and follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to/from Debary, FL and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions as required by job sites
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (Preferred)
